We got to Rome this morning at 11:30am. We are staying at the Relais Pierret, which is located in a great area - next to the Spanish steps and a lot of great shopping. It is beautiful in Rome and you would not believe the structures. Today we went by the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and a couple of other beautiful churches that we are not sure of the names. We sat outside and had a wonderful Italian lunch. Mindy and Brandi both had linguine with pesto and Jennifer had lasagna .. which was awesome! It was so hot here today, probably in the 90's. So, we had to have some Gelato. Jennifer and Mindy both had chocolate and tiramisu and Brandi had chocolate and cafe .. it hit the spot! We did a little shopping today and Brandi bought a really cool pair of purple boots. We sat outside this evening and had another wonderful Italian meal at Osteria Margutta, which is located on a side cobblestone street - exactly what you would imagine in Italy. It was a great evening for sitting outside. Our plan tomorrow is to do more shopping and see the Vatican .. then off to Tuscany around 5pm.

Our wireless connection is not working so we are posting from the computer outside of our room. We will post pictures as soon as we have a connection.

I just read the Paris entry...crack me up! I hope Italy is a little less stressful. I bet the wines and food are much better and the people much friendlier! Take lots of pics! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.
